Tube Innovation Days 2017 celebrate premiere in Mexico
Constantly growing quality requirements of the customers characterize today's tube production and processing. This also presents new challenges for manufacturers of equipment and components for the manufacturing process.
Versatile process and processing steps require perfectly coordinated equipment as well as a partner with its comprehensive range of services covering the entire process and the interfaces. The Tube Innovation Network was founded in order to be strong for the customer and to unite the competence of many.
A competence network of 13 partners
The Tube Innovation Network is a combination of 13 renowned and globally operating technology companies. The specialists of the Tube Innovation Network understand themselves as a holistic contact and use their comprehensive knowledge about the topic of tubes as well as their many years of experience in the process design in order to achieve the best result for the customer. From the first to the last step in the process chain, customers benefit not only from the core competences of the individual companies, but also from their close cooperation: individual processes and interfaces are perfectly coordinated along the entire production chain. The partners can rely on their extensive knowledge acquired over decades in the field of tube - individually in relation to the respective requirements.
Partners of the Tube Innovation Network are the companies AICON (3D-measuring), Dreistern (roll-forming), Fehr (warehouse logistics), FOERSTER (checking), JULIUS (band edge processing), Kluthe (cooling lubricant, cleaner, anticorrosive substance), KVK-KOERNER (staining), RSA (sawing, deburring), Scheffer (transporting), Sema Systemtechnik (straightening), TRUMPF (laser welding and laser cutting), Wafios (bending) and ZUMBACH (inline-measuring). High problem solving competence as well as the quality requirement "Made in Germany" are very important for all products and services offered.
Successful joint projects
In the meantime, there are many projects that demonstrate the competence and experience in interface management between the partners. Thus, e.g. the partners Sema and RSA realized many joint projects, including e.g. an integrated high-performance machining center for sawing, deburring, punching, doming, flattening and unloading of round and rectangular tubes made of steel in one line for PERI GmbH, one of the world's largest manufacturers of frame and formwork.
The companies Scheffer Krantechnik from Germany and KVK Koerner from Austria have been maintening a very successful partnership for several years. During the last two decades, they have been able to support each other in various projects and to realize galvanizing plants all over the world according to "state of the art". Thus, e.g. in Spain an automatic tube pickling line was built. Scheffer supplied the complete transport equipment and KVK the entire pre-treatment area including enclosure.
The company Fehr Lagerlogistik AG from Switzerland was also able to realize an interface between warehouse and lifting technology with the company Scheffer Krantechnik. One of these systems is located in the German Paderborn, where the storage goods are taken to the employee through Fehr warehouse technology and then removed from the storage carton using a Scheffer crane.
Customers are enthusiastic about the close collaboration between the partners and the smooth running of the entire project.
13 partners - one fair
The 13 Tube Innovation Network partners are the organizer of the Tube Innovation Days. This is a trade fair especially for customers and prospective customers in the fields of tube production and processing, but also for adjacent industries. Here, the customer is offered an integrated overview over the entire process chain. You will receive tailor-made solutions for the areas of weld preparation, profiling, laser processing, pickling, straightening, checking, inline-measuring, sawing, bending, measuring, transport, storage logistics and cooling lubricants.
For the first time the Tube Innovation Days 2017 will take place in Mexico: first on October 3rd at Trumpf in Monterrey, then on October 5 at the "Hacienda Jurica" hotel in Querétaro. At both locations, visitors will be able to enjoy interesting presentations from the partners of the Tube Innovation Network as well as a varied evening program. On the first day of the event, a visit of the company EZI Metales in Monterrey is organzied.
The aim of the Tube Innovation Days - which take place several times a year at locations around the world - is to always focus on the regional charasteristics of the respective market. Through the lectures on already successfully completed projects, product innovations and current topics, the visitors receive practical knowledge. This creates the best possible environment for exploring possible solutions for individual applications.
Industry know-how and global presence
The market for tube production and processing is also growing dynamically in Mexico. Moreover, the demand for special tubes is steadily increasing. This requires competent partners who have the necessary experience and, last but not least, the right machines, tools, accessories and tailor-made systems. Customers benefit from a broad range of applications, high output, short set-up times and easy operation. The partners of the Tube Innovation Network have also demonstrated their international competence in many joint and highly diverse projects worldwide.
You can already register for the event at: www.tube-innovation-days.com. There you will also receive further information on the two event days and you will always be kept up to date.
